Howdy! My name is Julia Yelvington, and I am a scenic painter, fabricator, and scenic designer. My passion for all things tech theatre started to blossom in high school and I went on to pursue a degree in scenic design at UT Austin. Hook' em!! Throughout my education I also worked at Texas Performing Arts Fabrication studios, where I recieved in depth hands on training that complimented the design concepts I was learning in class. After graduating in 2025, I was hired as a full time scenic artist through thr Emerging Arts Professional Program at Texas Performing Arts. I will be moving on to my next destination August of 2026, wherever that may be, and I am so excited for the opportunites in my future! Outside of painting I enjoy spending time with my two cats, being outdoors with my friends, and playing Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
